Your Love Is Like Venom Poem by Garrett Medellin

Your Love Is Like Venom

Your love is like venom
that runs through my veins
sneekinand peeking
annoying my brain

You are just so beautiful
the first flower of spring
bloomed at sight
so i held you forever
with all my might

Heaven is bright
but not like your eyes
when I see you
you fill my heart with spice

I love you so much
but it will never be
like Edgar allen Poe
and Annebell Lee
so i'll watch from afar and let your love be

It wounds me to say
but to this very day
i still love you
in the same way

I can't beleive you would love me
after years of trying so
so i forbid farewell
And my heart cries in it's shell

And so before I leave
I bid your heart farewell
and my love will never flee
from your grace and beauty.
