Your Love Is A Dark But Wonderful Place
Being with you hurts so bad
But I can’t live without you
You are toxic to me
But you feel so good
But it hurts so bad
I want to stop loving you
But the heart wants you
But I can’t stand you
You turn my world upside down
Will you take me to paradise tomorrow
Or take me to hell
This ride is to intense for me
But I’m to scared to leave
Tomorrow might be a better day
I live for those moments
Where I see the spark in your eyes
When you’re good then you’re perfect
When you’re bad you are a nightmare
But now your eyes looks empty
Will you explode next
Is this as deep as this cycle goes
Will you be wonderful tomorrow
Will you glow tomorrow
You are like a brick of soap
The harder I try to catch you
The faster you slide out of my hands
Will you slide out for good
A lovely depiction of nightmare in infatuation's phoney bed, well articulated and insightfully penned with conviction. Lust is the vain exultation of sensuality and an additive agony. I so enjoy your poem. It starts out serous, but then again it's also funny. I live for those moments my Where I see the spark in your eyes When you’re good then you’re perfect When you’re bad you are a nightmare I laugh out loud in this part. Good sense humor
