Your Laugh Poem by Meli Secret

Your Laugh

You laughed loud and free.
Such a sound was joy in the past.
Distant past.

Now it brings sadness.

For in that one brief moment,
in that one brief sound,
you are the person I loved once.
You are the person I once knew.

And I miss that person.

A sigh, a giggle, a laugh, a look, a smell, the voice, any one and all leave a memory. Well said in a poem.
