Your Father Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Your Father

"Even your father can't perform"
"Such a feat as you have undertaken in present form"
Such was outburst from rowdy editor
Who forgot to observe the etiquette and honor?

It was arrogant tone
That has not gone
Unnoticed but with frown
The ire was irrationally blown

He may have something else in mind
Or presenting it as in form legendry kind
Its implication was felt in all circles
It was clearly inviting troubles

"Freedom of speech" is enshrined in constitution
We are upholding it as matter of healthy tradition
If such utterances are made for the head of country
It is shame on the part of journalist and his liberty

The politicians are not above rule of law
To certain limits only, they can be allowed
Law can push them behind bars
If criminal background is found there

Any kind of criticism is welcome
It must have healthy tone
But if such spell is proving disharmonious
We need to take corrective measures
