Your Faith Poem by Rachel Henley

Your Faith

Faith. Is not for the invisible man in the sky,
Or for the leap the brave do try.
I fail to find faith in a bible text.
Or the hand on my shoulder, 'I'll do my best'
The hands, pointing to the stars in prayer.
Speak faith, but fail to get me there.
You don't need no god.
You don't need the encouragement from the rest.
Faith, You will find, is always within your self.

Ah, it is good to final see a poem that encourages religious freedom. I thank you for not preaching. Beautiful words, you are very right, who can we believe in, if not ourselves?
