Your Face Poem by Pamela Mote

Your Face

Rating: 5.0

When I was looking out into the crowd
I was looking for your face
Those eyes
That smile
But I could not find you
I hated that I had to leave so soon
But that happy face of yours
It was planted in my head
When I was walking out the doors
You bring the sunshine around me
I never want to see you frown
You don't know what you do to me
I always want you around
I want to see your eyes and look into them
I want to see that smile
I don't want to see it upside down
