Your Coming Poem by Bharati Nayak

Your Coming

Rating: 4.8

The days were waiting for you to come
Flowers were waiting to blossom
The breeze was waiting to caress the lovely branch
The roads were waiting for your feet to touch
The river was waiting to gurgle
The butterfly was sitting with beautiful wings to spread
The birds were singing for your welcome.

When you came, you came with the color.with the light and the music
As you came, you no more remain you,
You became the light, color and music
I no more remain I
As I became you and you became I
and together we become color.music and light
and sing the song of life.

So nice that is, to become all three in one, colour, music and light, and sing the song of love and of life. I like it, well done, Bharati Nayak!

Yes, God's love is manifested in nature. We are all part of nature and so human love is also a part of God's love.

I liked the mystery inherent in this poem, for love is a mystery we all wait on and hope to solve. Beautifully worded!

My 2nd? comment (see below) . In stanza two, i'd use 'me', not 'I', at the ends of two lines. bri : )
