You say I am your closest friend,
Then why can’t you hear me when I am silent.
You say you will see life from by my side,
Then why can’t you see the tears that I hide.
You say I am your closest friend,
Then why can’t you hear me when I am silent?
Why don’t you ever care if I am faking my smiles?
Why don’t you ever bother to walk with me a few miles?
Why don’t you ever worry about a tomorrow without me?
Why don’t you ever remember me in a single memory?
Why don’t you ever feel like asking me to stay?
Why don’t you ever fear that I might go away?
Yet,
You say I’m your closest friend,
And expect me to believe you when you are silent.
