Your Answer Poem by Neil Glass

Your Answer

Waiting by the phone
Waiting for it to ring
Waiting for you to call
Wanting to know your answer,

Waiting on the text
Waiting for the bleep
Waiting on your word
Wanting to know your answer,

Sitting on the PC
Watching my E-mails
Waiting on your letter
Wanting to know your answer,

Sitting by the door
Waiting for it to knock
Watching every passer by
Wanting to know your answer,

Will it come by fax?
Or carrier pigeon
Maybe a messenger
Wanting to know your answer,

Waiting no more, it’s you.
Loving your answer, it’s true.
