you would start to wonder
how can this girl really be happy
with the way her life has been
trapped in the past for too long
her heart has seen pain
pain no one understands
she takes it in and never lets go
never stops to look ahead

you should start to wonder
how can she not look back
with all the things that went wrong
her barbie doll life washed away
one moment starts all the pain
and she never let go
she didnt think to look for more.

you should start to see
how she feels when shes alone
with all the problems shes faced
not knowing who to turn to
she didnt have anyone
the pain she had to feel
and she always feels it
deep down wondering why.

you will soon understand
who she found to help
the one person that stopped
someone who would care
this girl washed away her pain
and she knows there is more
she loves this girl for many reasons
she now has reasons to look ahead

and she did look ahead
she found more than she ever asked for
she found love and happiness
someone she can count on

this someone brought her a gift
a gift better than love
this girl gave her hope
and the hope will never forget this girl.
