You White Petal You Poem by Vera Sidhwa

You White Petal You

Oh white petal you,
The darling part of the flower,
Fallen straight on my table,
Making me happy and able.

You tell me stories of pure love,
Of a white tail flying dove,
Of beautiful fields of flowers,
Of white clouds and spring showers.
