the times i needed a friend
you were there

you gave me food
you gave me love
you gave me hugs
you gave me your hand
you were there

the times i was in need
the times i was in trouble
the times i was hart boken
you were there

you comforted me when i was scared
you kept me warm when i was cold
you let me in when all left me out
you were there for me

i just want to say thanks for that
