you were the only one
that helped me get through my pain
when i wanted to cut and so now
my blood won't flow down the drain

you were the only one
to be there as my crying shoulder
when no one else would
ever dare come a step closer

you were the only one
i could ever run to
with my horribly mistaken problems
even if they didn't involve you

you were the one
that said you'd never leave myside
but everything is different now
and i am alone and ready to hide.
