It was just us and it was all we could be

Sitting here just listening and thinking of what it was

What it was that made us who we are

Me and you laying on my bed

Head out the window and watching the stars

Something to be remembered

Something forever burned into our hearts

I couldn't imagine myself with anyone else

It was you that made me this way

Made me into the way that made me smile

Making me laugh uncontrollably

making me feel like my hearts beating at light speed

Just wishing I could touch you right now..and watch you sleep

Wishing I could be with you every second of the day

A part of me misses you when we're together

Only because I know it won't last forever

I'll never give it up willingly

Never give up on what we share

something so bright and mind capturing

Taking photos too long trips and amusement parks

I'll hope that one day you'll see me as an equal

Equal to an angel in my eyes

I'm only a mere soul just looking for a piece that was missing

I'm glad it was you.. I'm glad I found you

I'm glad that I could be seen with you

I'm glad that I never went another minute without you

I'm glad I can sing, write, text to you

I'm thinking about your eyes

Those eyes that stare into my soul

I hope you realized I'm here to stay

I'm giving you my heart

I'm giving you everything I am

I'm giving you my darkness, my ambitions, my dreams and all my cards

I hope you let it play out

Don't call for a re-deal

I'll never be the same

I'll never be what I could be
