You'Ve Raised The Bar

Rating: 5.0

YOU'VE RAISED THE BAR

Lord You raised the bar of righteousness
That none other could obtain
You came Yourself to give new life
To whomsoever would call on Your name.

Sin could not hold you ransom
For in You, Lord there was found none
You were the Perfect Substitute
We're saved by the Crucified One.

Seems so simple a message really
But against good, all men are bent
That's why You've said in Your Word Lord
Ye shall perish except ye repent.

The Light it shineth in darkness
Twas given at infinite cost
But satan has blinded their eyes Lord
The Gospel's hid to those who are lost.

Keep my soul warm with the fire
From the altar of sacrifice sure
Quicken me Lord with Thy Spirit
Give me the strength to endure

Looking unto the Author and Finisher
Unto the Beginning and unto the End
Praise You my Lord and my Saviour
Thou art my ever unfailing Friend.
