you taught me how to hug,

and you taught me how to kiss,

you taught me how to cuddle,

and you taught me how to miss,

you taught me that life’s not easy,

it’s not always very fair,

but sometimes the best feeling in the world,

is just to know somebody’s there,

you taught me how to laugh,

and you taught me how to trust,

you taught me how to hold hands,

you taught me how to lust,

you taught me how to smile,

and you taught me how to leave,

you taught me to pray,

and you taught me to believe,

because you taught me how to do something,

that I didn’t believe in at all,

you taught me how to love,

and that is the most important of them all..
