You Should'Ve Known (Half-Told Story Of Regret) Poem by John Hazon Palen

You Should'Ve Known (Half-Told Story Of Regret)

Rating: 5.0

Back then you swore this stage was your place.
But now you wish to make days change,
Her name's in each of your journal's page;
The night you danced haunts you always...

Beneath the stars, up the staircase,
You're in your best vest.
Not long, she came in that silk dress;
The sight's your every wish.

There's an ocean of emotion.
'Tis a scintillating Prom;
Music plays while her face stuns..
Kingdom lights shined when you danced

'A perfectly nice scene of us glows
like rainbow colors but till I go, '
You told her so, but what you don't know:
She's also a dream to make come true!

(I love this poem like a love song.)

(I have written this poem when I was watching a true to life story with my family about a family having children whose lives first went far bitter because they didn't listen to their parents and did not hold on to their dreams. While watching, as our parents always do, they reminded and talked to us about what really are the important things in life which for a man to realize. I love my parents more than words can say! About the story, the children, eventually, realized all their faults and started to begin a new life. God bless, everyone! Thank you for reading.; ')
Aja!)
