Who are you?
Oh never mind, I know who you are
I've gotten lost in your eyes once or twice
Not on purpose of course

Anyways, I've wanted to tell you something
I was hoping we would collide someday
A beautiful mess of love and regret
But now I understand

You see, you want ecstasy, desire and dreams
But I want more
I want reality
You see, I thought we would be a beautiful couple, a language only we could interpret

But now I understand
My arrows would pierce your dreams
You see, things aren't exactly as they seem
We simply cannot be
