You'Re Off-Limits Poem by Edwina Reizer

You'Re Off-Limits

If you think I'm easy
thing again big boy.
'Cause I am not a plaything.
I'm nobody's toy.

If you think I'm easy
you picked the wrong one.
'Cause I am not a plaything
to be put away when done.

'Cause all that I gave you
I gave from the heart
and all that tou took babe
you took from the start.
Now the takin' is real easy.
It's the givin' that is hard
You just can't go halfway,
you go the whole yard.
And since you couldn't do that
I've put up my guard.
You're off-limits baby.
you broke all the rules.
You're off-limits baby
'Cause I'm nobody's fool.

If you think I'm crazy,
think again big guy.
I'm just as sane as you are.
I can tell you lie.

And that's what you gave me.
At first I thought I'd die
But now you're off-limits
and here's the reason why.

All that I gave you
I gave you from the heart.
And all that you took babe
you took from the start.
Now the takin' is real easy.
It's the givin' that is hard.
You just can't go halfway.
You go the whole yard.
And since you couldn't do that
I've put up my guard.
You're off-limits baby.
You broke all the rules.
You're off-limits baby.
'Cause I'm nobody's fool.

Written as a song first. I have now written 22 songs
