You'Re My Angel Poem by David Hunter

You'Re My Angel

You're my angel and always will be,
Would you believe me if I told you, you meant a lot to me?
You give light when I'm in the dark and can't see,
You make me feel enlightened like a bird that's free.

You're my angel, would i ever doubt that you're mine?
No, I wouldn't, not now, not ever because you shine.
You'll forever live in my heart for it's your shrine,
Will you continuously lead me when i'm no longer in my line?

You're my angel, I'll wipe your tears whenever you cry,
So save your emotions and feelings for me, together we'll say good-bye.
Every step we get closer and closer to each other, we fly,
Even if I can't see, hear, or feel you, I know you give a slight sigh.

You're my angel and always will be.
