You'Re Majesty Poem by Stephen Carey

You'Re Majesty

The very first time I saw you
I knew you were the one
Who was next to steal
The throne of my heart.
You should have seen yourself
Through my eyes, that day.
You would love yourself, too!

The very first moment I thought
I was in love with you,
I swore to myself
That it couldn’t be true.
You and I would never
Be more than nothing.
To try’d be suicide.

Every time I came near you
I’d near panic and feel
A semi-pleasant
Naseousness fill me.
Excited and nervous,
Anxious to see you,
I would almost throw up.

After that time you hurt me,
It felt so wrong to
Keep you in my mind,
Let alone my heart,
But it felt so much worse
To be so angry.
You are just too perfect.

Any time, I can’t stand to
Be without you at all,
Even an instant,
Because I need you
In every sentence
Of my life’s story.
You’re too much to let go.
