You Only Live Half A Life Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

You Only Live Half A Life

you only live half a life
pay check to pay check
work day to work day
waiting for Friday night
waiting for two day weekend
waiting for next hit TV episode
waiting to pay for rent food
waiting for welfare check if not
lucky you still have a job
