You Never Wanted To See

You never wanted to see
me victorious because
you know to love you
alone, so you block my way
so that the branch
of my poetic tree
can't ever sway by
the wind of the favor.
Block me, and my way.
I won't ever envy
you and your pen
as I haven't ever
stood before you or
your glorious day.
