You Never Know Who You Truly Are Poem by Michael Pyatt

You Never Know Who You Truly Are

You never know who you truly are
Until you found the one whos gonna love you forever
So in my past to me i am a stranger
In the future I'll know everything about me

There is a brand new day waiting to happen
It could happen so suddenley
24 hours dont have to pass
For your whole day to last
You never know who you truly are
So closed off was my mind I dont rememeber

The last time I needed anyone so close
But when I see you, I see the one I need the most
This just cant be an accident
Because its way too accurate
You never knew what you could become
Until your far away from the placed you ran away from

Just a brand new day with everything left as it was before
Yesterday still lives in all of us
You never know who you truly are
Until you find the heart that beats as pure as yours
Until you find the star that shines as bright as you
Come and help me find myself

This is not an accident waiting to happen
Without you so many things couldnt
Be someone I miss when I blink for a second
Be the one for who I want time to suspend
To live that moment where I found myself
And you became the someone I needed more than air itself
