You might think you don’t lie…
No, not you

You don’t think you betray…
But you do

You might try to change …
But you can’t

You might think you shall…
But you shan’t

You might think you could care…
but care not a lot

You might think that you’re fair …
But you’re not

You might think you do …
But more likely never

You might think you’ve changed…
But you won’t, ever

You might think I still care…
But care has long flown

You might think you’re aware…
But you’re simply alone
