You May Live To Regret Poem by Francis Duggan

You May Live To Regret

'Tis true from insult friendship never can grow
That's stating I'm sure what you obviously know
You harm one physically or mentally you they may not forgive
They may even hate you for as long as they live
What goes around comes around as ever rings true
And the karma we sow it will become our due
What you do to others to your own self you do
Your past it will one day return to haunt you
But if you live your life in an honourable way
And you try to perform one good deed every day
Then karma in kind you is bound to repay
From life we receive our fair dues as some are known to say
That karma is for real you ought not to forget
And any harm you cause to others you may live to regret.
