You May Judge Me Harshly Poem by Francis Duggan

You May Judge Me Harshly

You may judge me harshly though with me that's okay
For to you for my sins i will not have to pay
The one i must pay has a five letter name
And as for you your praise and criticisms i treat as the same
And since people like you i meet with every day
It doesn't matter of me what you think or you say
To karma for my sins i must pay the price
In that it does seem i will not have a choice
The criticisms of others never keep me from sleep
But the karma i sow is the karma i must reap
And what you think of me is your business not mine
Though the truth may sound bitter you are not out of line
And since to karma alone for my sins i must pay
I do try to live in a good sort of way.
