A week of feeling broken,
Cured by your smile.
A satisfying feeling,
Deep down inside.

I feel stronger now,
Like I have never felt before.
I feel like I died,
Then was reborn.

You make me feel new,
Like I had no past.
I wish I had met you sooner,
So all I would have is good memories

Now you’re my present and hopefully future,
Until the day you tell me otherwise.
I’m not like most girls out there,
I have a different way of looking at things.

I do not expect you to understand,
How I’m feeling deep down.
Since you took my hand,
You brought me to a whole new land.

A land full of happiness,
Where nothing can hurt me.
A place where I can feel proud,
That I am different than most people.
