You Made Me Laugh Poem by nadia abduljabbar

You Made Me Laugh

Kisses on your hands,
And fingers as well,
For tapping on the key-
Board to produce such
A funny proposal and
That funny attached
Boyfriend.
Together with his funny
Suicide and Wind.
Thanks for showing
Me our honeymoon bed,
This effort adds
To your many merits.

Last night you made
Me laugh like a child;
Thanks for bringing
Back my smile,
My giggle are still,
In the air, ringing,
I might have laughed
From some men’s silliness,
But No man ever reached
Me in a smart way
As such

I wish I could kiss the inside
Of your brain and your thinking
Ways before everybody else,
My only FEAR is that thing stay
In the imaginative world,
And I find myself attached
To a reverie.
I am not a teen ager
To bear living in day dreaming
Or REVERIES.

With all of this fear
I adore your care and toil;
You did all of this work for me;
I am honoured.

Yet, there is one more thing
To add or rather a plea;
Do not try to ignite my craving,
It is not a healthy thing
For me,
Demons surround lonely
Women to attack,
If they go astray,
I am keeping the flame under
The blanket of patience,
Until God wish us to meet.
