You Lose, I Win Poem by Paula Glynn

You Lose, I Win

Rating: 4.0

I am competitive by nature, so you lose, I win,
I owe you nothing, I work hard,
I am bull headed, I carry out difficult tasks,
I pull that tractor, I lift up that car,
I fly that plane, I drive that train,
I do somersaults, for I love flipping in the air,
I put out fires, I sweep away that snow,
I use karate, I trip you up,
I talk fast, I make conversation last,
I pray for strength, I solve problems practically,
I am creative, I am stable,
I am a painter, I am able,
I talk fast, I never stop talking,
I make conversation last, for I have so much to say,
I believe in myself, I trust no one else,
I make a lot of money, I love ice cream when it is sunny,
I love autumn, I love tricks and treats,
I love going out for lunch, I love filling my belly up with food,
I love treating myself to new red shoes,
I don't keep myself to myself, I am open and honest,
I can be trusted and I keep my word,
And every word you said, I most certainly heard,
And with all these things, you lose and I win,
For I deserve some credit for all I put into life.
