You Live In Me Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

You Live In Me

You can’t go away from me
As seasons do when their times come;
You can’t hide from me
As clouds do when wind pushes them
To the other side of towering mountain
You can’t ignore me
As birds do to wave of colours rushing
To nests as gloaming begins to cuddle
Fatigued earth with its mellowed embrace;
You can’t shake me off
As petals do to demure dew drops on
Receiving cool hue of flattening yellow
From the transparent screen of the east;
You live in me as an image
Of the sky in the tranquil water of sea.
