You, Little Girl Poem by Songs for Stephanie

You, Little Girl

Hey there little girl
you drift
farther
and farther
from my world

not surprising little girl
(life never is)
once you've seen
the stars
and the twilight twirl

but, in the end,
i lose
my inspiration,
the smell of your skin
its presperation
i lose
my muse
and in the end
(somehow)
i gain, my Muse
but when i gain, i lose

Every action
has its equal
and opposite
reaction

the universe would have it no other way

the laws of the land
there are some you can choose
but try to win
and in some ways you lose

try to win
and life may ultimately choose
when is when
and who is who

best to let it flow
let the colors
and gravity
know
that you are you
and you, little girl, I know.
