You Left Me Poem by Emma Haze

You Left Me

You left me,
maybe I drove you away,
You left me,
So alone, day after day,
You left me,
And now I sit waiting,
You left me,
Now I'm left wondering.

You left me,
My hearts dying,
You left me,
My life's in broken pieces,
You left me,
with absolutely nothing.

You left me,
Only left that letter,
You left me,
saying it was for the better,
You left me,
standing there, crying,
You left me,
while I read that letter.

You left me,
And that day my world shattered,
You left me,
Broke all my hopes, all my dreams,
You left me,
With your child, still growing,
You left me,
You left me, and your child, behind,
You left,
without even saying, or writing, one goodbye.

You left,
You left me behind,
You left,
And now honey I'm beginning to find,
You left,
I cannot forgive you, not for this.
