You Know Poem by Scott Austin

You Know

Rating: 5.0

You always know
When I am sad
When I am blue
You always know
Just what to do

You know how to
Make me smile
Make me laugh
Even giggle every once in awhile
As you always do

You know your
My best friend
My guiding light
My true love
And my loving wife

You know that
I love you
I cherish you
I give you my heart
Until death do us part

You know that
I promised you
I will not forsake you
I will keep you safe
From whatever life may bring

You know that
You are by my side
In my heart
On my mind
All day and all night

So you know
This my dear
I will always
Love you
My sweet pea

Isn't it wonderful when your wife is your best friend? I think that's the way it feels best! Barbara

Keep writing...good expression and content of feelings. Loyalty and true love with our husband/wife is not as common as in the past; .thank you...
