You Keep Me Safe Just For You
Cold lips sliding on my feet
i saw birds flying down west
i should walk to keep me warm
puppy looking at me happy face
waggling tail doesn't let me go
i tap her head gently, loves it
slow pace taking my time to think
my toes, fingers starting; shrink
i rub my fingers together and blow
mimicking wind, falling winter snow
coming, i always remember i know
you wanted me be home to my igloo
