You Have Paid With Your Precious Blood Poem by Don Nguyen

You Have Paid With Your Precious Blood

Oh my Love, you have purchased this poetic skill for me with your own Blood
You have pleaded, bided me toward nobility and holiness, which comes from you
Your simple but sacred earthly life, foolish to a few, has always been the most magnificent poetic beauty, to me
Your strenuous labor and determination to march on in winning souls have been my battle cry
Your sacrifices leading to the Cross and on the Cross move me to lay my body on your Cross
Next to you, to comfort and console and to gloss my tears over your most precious Body
You also open my heart to see the world through your most calm enchanting beautiful eyes
Always benevolent, forgiving, gentle, and full of loving compassion
At the same times, hatred and ugliness coming from sin have to be seen with those same gentle eyes
That is why your Heart now being broken into numerous sharp painful fragments
For sins just pierces deeply into your fragile Spirit like the rusty nails which had pierced the palms of your most gentle holy Hands
My Love, meditate on this vivid lovely and moving vision
I can't hold back my tears while making a solemn promise
To live in the cruel world but for you alone
For I still believe with your Grace and my willingness, we can change the sad and cold world
Into a better place where Divine Love reigns
Bless me oh Lord
Your servant now

Amen
