You Have Deceived Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

You Have Deceived

Rating: 2.0

You have deceived
The message was long back received
God sent you here with big smile
You forgot him meanwhile

You were to spread
Live the life and lead
Peaceful life with message
Not to force anybody to live in cage

He made no difference
You were chose and sent at once
With love and peace
To live with others at ease

Every object live with harmony
Still message not understood by many
Hatred and war control the rage
Create bad blood and drive a wedge

Obey and listen to what is meant for
Stop the unrest and avoid the war
“Peace and calm is my message”

Many preachers have come and gone, yet wars on this earth have been the culture of war mongers. Though young I was then, we were once victims of World War II in one way or the other, when there were mass destructions in several parts of the world. Only poets like your goodself can save this world from catastrophe to justify the proverb 'Pen is mightier than sword.' Rajaram Ramachandran, Juhu, Mumbai Oct 30,2011
