You Don'T Have To Do Much Poem by Eric Wallace

You Don'T Have To Do Much

Rating: 4.5

You don’t have to do much to keep me happy
Just a smile from time to time
Just a whisper when I’m down that everything will be fine
Just to hold you in my arms is all I need
You don’t have to do much to make me happy

You don’t have to do much to be beautiful to me
The make up, the hair and nails, aren’t really necessary
Even if you just woke up with boogers in your eye (gross)
I can look at you and say “My girl is still fine! ”
You don’t have to do much to be beautiful to me

You don’t have to do much when I’m hungry
Cold or hot, spicy or not, that’s fine
I’ll definitely eat it because you made it mine
Even if you punished me with the worst meal in the world
I would still eat it all, 'cuz I love you, and you’re my girl (lol)
You don’t have to do much when I’m hungry

You don’t have to do much to spend your life with me
Just honour me as your husband; you’ll always be my queen
I can see that your love will be like aged wine
It only gets better and sweeter with time
You don’t have to do much to spend your life with me

You won’t have to do much when we’re old and gray
We’ll just hold hands and smile, and we’ll be ok
And even though our smiles may be bought at the store
And we can’t run around the house like we did before
You won’t have to do much when we’re old and gray

You didn’t have to do much to steal my heart away
One look from you gives me sunshine on a cloudy day
And even if all the above had never came true
I would still thank God for allowing me to meet you
You didn’t have to do much to steal my heart away.

Loving You
Always
