You Do Not Exist Poem by Rose Rosado

You Do Not Exist

Rating: 2.5

If one shall know thyself,
One must know a meaning,
If that meaning has no purpose,
You do not exist, you do not exist.

If you say so yourself that you are,
Then you must be in denial,
If one cannot feel you, hear you, see you,
You do not exist, you do not exist.

You walking in a straight path,
No looking back, nothing to hide,
In a corner, no looking back,
You do not exist, you do not exist.

People passing through you,
Not able to feel you, hear you, see you,
Walking wall to wall with no hesitation,
You do not exist, you do not exist.

Giving a smile that doesn’t mean anything,
Of course no one can see you,
Not able to see your reflection to what you really look like,
You do not exist, you do not exist.

Beyond from what I could hear,
Is that silent whisper you call screaming,
Saying to wish you back home free,
You do not exist, you do not exist.

Go away you torturing pest,
If I cannot stand you in my ear,
Following me in the shadows,
YOU DO NOT EXIST! YOU DO NOT EXIST!

If I tell you to Banish,
Would you care to seek my prayers?
I preach you a farewell,
YOU DO NOT EXIST! YOU DO NOT EXIST!

YOU DO NOT EXIST! YOU DO NOT EXIST!
YOU DO NOT EXIST! YOU DO NOT EXIST!
Follow the prayers that hunt you down,
YOU DO NOT EXIST! YOU DO NOT EXIST!
