You Choose Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

You Choose

It so happens
In the vicinity even
We are blinded by illusion
There prevails total confusion

We are unable to decide
And hold to divide
Yet it makes permanent impression
What is wrong with relation?

I found nothing wrong
When he sang a song
In my praise
To save him from wild chase

I knew he was making me fool
And trying to lull
But I had made resolve
That today I shall solve

I rubbed off indecision
I could now clearly reason
He was not to be trusted again
I had now no more pain

'You choose your way'
I warned him to be clearly away
Stay always out and never to be seen
I was out of cage so soon
