You Can Never Poem by Silence Dogood

You Can Never

I cant believe that I wasted my time.
Hoping you'd be my valentine.
Only now I see.
You'd never like me.
With a face like this no one would.
With a face like hers you really should.
Only now with my hair cut right.
Problems dissapearing out of sight.
Only now you like me for how I look.
could of had me you got what you took.
Because now that im something.
I aint your nothing.
You pay alittle more attention.
More than just mentioned.
As I walk by.
You follow me with your eyes.
Staring after what you let go.
Knock you down with one blow.
Your a broken hearted fool.
Lost and confused.
You could of had me.
If only you'd seen.
That I was never nothing.
Could of been your everything.
I cant believe you wasted your time.
Hoping I would be your valentine.
Guess what this aint a game.
I aint here to make a name.
You had me long ago.
But then you let me go.
With no goodbye.
Just a plead in your eye.
I can never be your valentine.
And you can never be mine
