No matter what time of day it is
I always find myself thinking of you
I try to focus on other things
yet I can't get you off of my mind
Why do you have to be so toxic

You are toxic
Filling me with hopes and dreams
I haven't had in years
Giving me happiness where
before there was sadness
You fill my thoughts with you intoxicating charm

I sit here thinking of you when you aren't near
Always trying to find a way to your heart
Never knowing if she is going to whisk you away
before I get the chance or not
I can constantly feel your intoxicating kiss
