You Are The Formless And The Form Poem by Vic Zarley

You Are The Formless And The Form

You are the formless and the form
You are what's timeless in our minds
You are the calm within all storms
You are the rhymeless and the rhyme

You're what is raceless and the race
You are the window and the drape
You are what matters in this space
You are the shapeless and the shape

You are love and what is loved
You are the king, You are the crown
You are below, You are above
You are the silence and the sound

You are the black, You are the white
You are what's heard, You are the ear
You are the morning and the night
And in the heart of those who fear

You are the All, You are the small
You are the short, You are the tall
You are the spring, You are the fall
You are the bat, You are the ball

You are the Answer and the call
You are the start, You are the stall
You are the rise, You are the fall
You are the answers in us all

You are the shop, You are the mall
You are the run, You are the crawl
You are the coat, You are the shawl
You are the sentence and the scrawl

How can it be so put in words
When You're the spoken and the heard?
How can it be You we define
When You're the reader and the sign?

How can it be You are so much?
You are the feeling and the touch
You are the core, You are the crust
And Jesus Christ who dwells in us

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

I'm not religiously minded myself....although I did grow up in a Christian household....but having said that, this is a very well written piece, very well put together it has to be said. :)
