A ray of light in a sea of darkness
A blinding light of hope to guide us
The courage to do what's right
When we're afraid to fall
The soft body to embrace us
Offering kind words to assure the insecure
The strong mind to know and teach
Honesty, even if the truth hurts it's truth you speak
The wisdom to know it's better to take one step forward
Not two steps back, in any direction you go
The way the sun grows you are the hope
That binds us in a way words can never show
