You Are Now Poem by Neela Nath Das

You Are Now

The sun has taken his seven colored throne.
Morning is mildly laughing as baby new born.
Birds are busy picking grains and twittering.
With the closed doors the houses are sleeping.
Are you awake or changing side in your sleep?
Is there chuckle on lips, when your sleep is deep?
Your dreamy eyes have passed the seven seas perhaps.
You are visiting the lands one can't find in maps.
Innocence hugs the sleeping face without any strain.
It seems the face has not ever faced any mortal pain.

Beautiful poem Neela with fantastic lines..... Innocence hugs the sleeping face without any strain. It seems the face has not ever faced any mortal pain. I feel that you have compared innocent new born baby to nature. Loved the way you presented it.
