You Are My Property Poem by Nur Meiyati

You Are My Property

Everything in this house belongs to me
Including you
I am the boss
I declared
But I give you the right
To pay for all the expenses
When I am with you
I can also become your accountant
My job description is counting and spending your money
For everything I want
You laughed
I think you laughed a lot
When we were in our small paradise home
I knelt and put my arms on your laps
Why do you laugh at almost anything I say?
I like what you say
And I like the way you say it
Come on
You reached me
And took me...to the bed
