Day in and day out you are in my thoughts
In rain and shine you reign my heart

Orphan I am when you are away
Seldom I fear when you are near

Away you are, descends a despair
Around you are, joy knows no bounds

Melody it rains when I hear you laugh
Music surrounds when I hear you talk

Treasure at my reach with a touch of yours
Pleasure at its peak with the thought of yours

A source of strength you are to me!
A lamp in darkness you are to me!
A ray of hope you are to me!
A pool of wisdom you are to me!
