You Are A Boon Poem by DEEPAK KUMAR PATTANAYAK

You Are A Boon

Rating: 5.0

You are a boon
- - - - - - - - - - -
You dwell in your hall of wonder
And I see your shining face everywhere
Be it delightful dells or refreshing streams,
Wonderful tower or refreshing air
You leave your footprints everywhere
You have been sent by God to lighten
Our work and knit men together
But sometimes His presence you question
And go alone boosting your success fair
You are cool and humble
And competent enough to stir
The brightest minds with marvel
You are like a sunshine that wherever
You go, dispel darkness
And leave glory on its course
With God-like strides
You brighten the path of mankind
Enlivening the world's greatest minds
You are indeed a boon to mankind
Being charmed with your wonders
Arts compose wonderful poems
To make you more lively and mighty ever
And at the same time lament
Oft your misuse of power
And wish you not to go astray
While exercising your potent power
Lest one day this beautiful world
May fall shattered to your hand

Yes, Science is Indeed a boon to mankind! It has left man's life comfortable and explains many of the mysteries of life and universe! The great strides in medical science have given many of us, a second life! But this Leviathan of power, if misused can spell our doom too! A great write! Top marks!
