You Are Poem by Jon M. Nelson

You Are

You are my rock,
the one I'll always lean upon,
The one I want to see,
when I wake in the dawn.

You are my shoulder,
when I feel I need to cry,
The one who loves me,
without having to try.

You are my heaven,
when I need to say a prayer.
The one who will no matter what,
always be there.

You are my helping hand,
to grab me if I fall.
The one to help me through,
when I've hit a wall.

You are my angel,
to guide me along the way.
The one that I will love,
even more every day.

You are my life,
and I could not ask for more.
The one who gives me wings,
as I want to soar.
