You And Me Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

You And Me

Rating: 4.5

Just sat on the fence of emotion
And weave the threads of life
At the sight of the dawn.
You and Me.

The necklace of sorrow and penury
Thrown in the mid of the journey
Was dipped in the blood of siblings
And tolerated by
You and Me.

They all gave wrong messages
Who are dead and turned to dust
That going downstream is sweat;
But followed intently by
You and Me.

Love has given in to thirst
And thirst has given in to Lust
Still in the soft moon beam
The lives were lived like saints by
You and Me.

The Halo over there in the sky
Would take us to our bones
Where drops of our tears wash
Their sins and give salvation
Then song of love would be sung by
You and Me.
